About Coach Dennis


I’m not just a trainer, I’m the product of grit, science, and a lifelong mission to help people feel at home in the gym.

Born in Queens to Ecuadorian parents, I learned early the value of hard work and self-discipline. Now, as a competitive powerlifter with a degree in Biological Sciences from CUNY Baruch College, I bring both education and experience to every client I coach.

At Mayhem Training, I help adults build confidence and strength through smart programming, accountability, and results that last, no fluff, no fads. I’ve trained clients from ages 12 to 80, tailoring each plan to fit their lives and goals.

What exactly do I get when I join Mayhem Training?

You get a fully customized workout plan built around your goals, expert coaching on exercise form, accountability check-ins, and clear, simple nutritional guidance — all tailored to your lifestyle and needs.

How often should I train with you?

It depends on your schedule and experience. Beginners usually benefit from meeting weekly. I also offer a hybrid model — train with me 4 times a month, and follow a guided program on your own in between.

How long until I see results?

Most clients start feeling better and seeing visible progress in 4–6 weeks — assuming you stay consistent with your training and nutrition. No magic pills, just smart effort.

What if I have an injury or medical condition?

No problem. I’ll modify your workouts to fit your current capabilities and progress you safely over time. Injuries don’t mean game over — they just mean we get more strategic.

What happens during the first session?

Your first session is an assessment of your current capabilities. We’ll assess your fitness level, talk through your goals, review your movement, and set the foundation for your program.
